There are almost as many makes, sizes and types of motorcycle as there are people who ride them! From the wee scooters to the sports bikes, standards and the big Tourers and Customs, and all have different needs for their battery types.
The listed batteries here cover most applications though, and make your choice a bit easier. Generally the 07L2 is for smaller engines up to 125cc, the 09L2 for engines up to 250cc and the 14L2 for engines up to 1000cc four cylinders or 650 V-twins.
The 18A1 is for engines up to 1400cc fours and V-twins up to 900cc. For the bigger V-twins, the 21A6 is the most common up to 1200cc, and over that requires either the 27A3(L3), or the big 36A3(L3), for large V-twins and modified bikes with high compression engines.
